Volunteer Park Conservatory

[Jack] After a 40 minute morning walk along Lake Washington (and Arlene stopping at the Friends of the Library sale to find a 25 cent book titled Spirit Lake that will maybe be the highpoint of the trip) we drove down to the Volunteer Park Conservatory on Capital Hill (near downtown Seattle).
The plants ranged from huge jungle palms to tiny flowering cacti. Here are some photos of the flowers and the Conservatory.
On the way home we stopped at a brand new Goodwill Store (I know what Arlene likes) and then on home for barbecued burgers (and brats) and the Mariner game on TV.

Tomorrow: Pike Place Market and Downtown Seattle!
