Snoqualmie Falls

[Jack] We took a short roadtrip yesterday around the non-urban parts of King County. The main stop was at Snoqualmie Falls that had a huge torrent of water coming over the falls. The spray from the falls got us wet even at the distant viewpoint - that's mist, not rain. Here's a photo...

Then last night we had some friends over and put together a seafood chowder (including fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, and crab). We went to several stores to get all of the ingredients including to the nearby "Ranch Market" that's an Asian market in a K-Mart that closed a couple years ago. The staff and shelves and signs all give you the impression that the store is in Hong Kong rather than Seattle. A great place for a real cultural experience!
